The age old question “Which came first, the chicken or the egg?"
According to the fossil record, it is believed that birds come from dinosaurs. Findings in China and elsewhere show some dinosaurs with early feathers—as in the image, right.
Thinking about this, I reckon …
as most reptiles lay eggs and some of the earlier ones—i.e. some dinosaurs—evolved into birds, the egg (definitely) preceded the chicken.
